The books I read

Posted by Sri Prasath Venkateswaran on July 10, 2006

Last week, I read two good books on Team work, Team Building and Seven Habits of highly excellent People

Book#1

The Icecream maker by Subir Chowdary

This is a good book on Team Building and Team work. The story is about a manager who in turn becomes a leader and finally president of the Icecream factory

This books focuses on the key values like customer centric company, test marketing the product, building the internal and external customers, building team work etc.

Book#2

The seven habits of highly excellent people- Dinesh Sareen

Dinesh’s book resembles the Seven habits of highly Effective People by Stephen R. Covey. But the most important fact that I loved in this book that key points which he had quoted. The spotting out of the difference between Normal persoan and Leader

I recommend these books to all the management level people.

Yuvan or Rahman?

Posted by Sri Prasath Venkateswaran on July 1, 2006

I’m still dillematic Whether Yuvanshankarraja is gaining fame and A.R.Rahman losing his glory? Rahman last musical release was Godfather and the score was not upto Rahman’s benchmark.

Meanwhile Yuvan on the other hand scored some sensational music in Kalvanin Kadhali, Sanda Kozhi and he has paired with Simbu and has given rocking Music in “Vallavan”

There is a rumor that S.J.Suryah has moved from Rahman to Yuvan to score the music for next movie “Deivakulanthaigal”. Everyone is eagerly anticipating for Rahman’s next venture “Sivaji”. Shankar and Rahman always kept their momentum going in all the films they worked. Since Rajini is the hero of the movie, it creates much more hype.

Rahman has opted out of Kamalhassan ”Dasathavaram” and Himesh Reshimaiyya has been opted to score music for the movie.

Yuvan on the other hand has his handsful. His forth coming release Thimiru has created expectation in the audience. Meanwhile Maniratnam’s “Guru” for which Rahman scores his music is going to hit shops in October.

I’m keeping my fingers crossed until Rahman’s gives the next musical hit
